For decades, I’ve been entertaining at festivals, stage, community and promotional events. From Gospel and church events, festivals, cultural events as well as community days and celebrations. It's been a blessing to play across this country, as well as in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Germany, Belgium and even India!
Everywhere I went, I've brought downhome American musical traditions, stories and style. And, from each of these places, I've brought back some little bit of seasoning and flavor that never would have happened any other way.
All that has been mashed up into a blend of experiences that can’t be gotten any other way. Your audience gets the benefit of all those miles travelled and musical interactions, along with a sizable helping of road stories and some tall tales, served with a sizable scoop of humor!
One of the greatest joys is to entertain an interactive audience who likes to laugh, sing along, clap their hands and dance! I try to stay in the Mid Atlantic region, but can be persuaded to travel to the regions beyond.
I do outdoor festivals, like the Sun and Suds Festivals, Outdoors and Hunting Expos, Juneteenth, G.A.R Anniversary Celebrations, church and Gospel festivals, as well as “Taste Of ______ Whatever town or city” events. I can come as a solo performer, a duet or with a pickup band if needed.
